(1) If any person is seen to have done any act in violation of this Act or the rules or orders issued under this Act, or if any evidence is found, to arrest and commit the offense in accordance with the arrest warrant issued by the local authority. If no arrest is made immediately, or if such a person escapes, escapes, or if there is a reasonable reason for him to destroy evidence, theft or evidence, or if a person who is absconding related to the offense is found, or is committing an offense or is in front of the local authority, the local authority shall immediately issue an arrest warrant to such person and arrest him. Weapons, goods and things used in the crime can also be confiscated. The person arrested by the staff assigned by the local authority or any police officer and the weapons, goods and things seized must be handed over to the local authority within twenty-four hours, excluding the time limit for the journey.
(2) After filing as per sub-section (1) The local authority must take necessary action within 24 hours and if the thing seized is perishable, it must be deposited in the custody of the arrested person.
